Meet Latoya Howard

Hello there!

Are you a super stressful mom like I was? Working a full-time job, managing home life, miserably failing at homeschooling and trying to spend time with God/family and leaving little room for me. Yep, that WAS me! There was no balance at all and I was doing what I could to barely get by. I was on my 3rd child and work was JUST. NOT.WORKING. Ya feel me! I would question myself, “Why am I here when I would much rather be at home with my children?” Then reality sets in with the answer, “You’re here because it’s your only source of income, how else are you going to survive”. So you just remain stuck. Stuck wishing, hoping and praying that someday something will change.

We packed up and moved to a new city and I decided that enough was enough. I couldn’t continue this cycle any longer and be the best wife, mom, daughter, sister or friend that I could be. I took a massive leap of faith and stepped down from my lead position at work. I started a business so that I can create the life that I want instead of living a life that was dragging me along for the ride.

Now I get to spend precious moments with God and believe me there is nothing like it. I get to teach my children and watch them grow and develop. I get to do things. Period! I’m all for a simpler way of living. The more natural the better and if that makes me crunchy then so be it. Crunch on! I like creating things with my hands. DIY is my thang! From baking, skin/hair/body care, to crafting, sewing, crocheting and yes even children's experiments.

Stressed out mom, there is hope. You are more than just a maid that cleans up after little people all day. You are unique and there is only one YOU in the world so you’ve got to take care of yourself. You have God given gifts and talents that need to be unearthed and shared with others.
